ברוכים הבאים למהדורת ספטמבר של העדכן שלנו. העדכן הנוכחי מספק מידע על מספר תחרויות בתחום המשפט הבין-לאומי וכתבות חדשות בנושא המשפט הבין-לאומי ההומניטארי.
אנו מצפים לתחרות ה-11 לסטודנטים במשפט בין-לאומי הומניטארי. ברצוננו להזמין אתכם להשתתף באירוע הסיום של התחרות אשר יתקיים ב-26 באוקטובר במשכנות שאננים (מרכז הכנסים קונרד אדנאואר). לקבלת מידע נוסף ראו את עמוד הפייסבוק של האירוע.

1. Call for Applications: Seventh Annual Junior Faculty Form for International Law – University of Melbourne, May 2018. Designed as an annual feature of the international law calendar, the Forum is aimed at bringing together junior faculty working in the field of international law in order that their work can be presented before an audience of peers and experts and then discussed by established and senior scholars in international law and related fields.The deadline for submission is 15 December 2017.
2. Call for Papers: “Contingency in the Course of International Law: How International Law Could Have Been”, Amsterdam, 14-16 June 2018. The conference will ask a question that is deceptive in its simplicity: How might international law have been otherwise? We want to question the present state of international law by challenging its pretence to necessity and by better understanding the forces that have shaped it. Put simply with Robert Musil: “If there is a sense of reality, there must also be a sense of possibility.” Fleur Johns (UNSW) will give a public keynote and Samuel Moyn (Yale) will give a closing address. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 1 December 2017.
3. Call for Submissions: UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence. The Editorial Board is pleased to call for submissions for the first issue of 2018 (Volume 7, Issue 1 (March 2018)). The Board welcomes papers covering all areas of law and jurisprudence.The deadline for submissions is 16 October 2017.
